Chief
Executive: Phil Roberts
Phil joined the organisation in June 2000. He was previously with
Ernst and Young's International Location Advisory Service where he
advised international companies on where best to locate their manufacturing
and service projects. He also advised development agencies on the
strategies to attract and retain investment. Prior to Ernst and Young,
Phil spent 7 years with the Department of Trade and Industry in Liverpool,
Manchester and London where he worked on regional policy and the formation
and delivery of Regional Selective Assistance.

Funding
Manager: Cathy Gretton
Cathy joined the team in February 2001. She is responsible for the
finance & funding of Sheffield First for Investment. Cathy was previously
part of the Finance Management Team at Sheffield College, heading
up External Funding and Special Projects. She has worked in both the
public and private sector in South Yorkshire & London.

Job
Match Director: John Hudson
John was appointed the first Director of Jobmatch in April 2001. He
is responsible for the design and delivery of customised recruitment
and training services to new and existing organisations investing
in Sheffield. Previously, he was Director for a national recruitment
consultancy/employment agency and HR Director for a leading supply
chain contractor, where he was responsible for new location implementations
for leading blue chip organisations. Prior to this, John held senior
HR positions with United Biscuits, before which he had significant
local authority HR experience with Sheffield CC and Barnsley MBC.

Director
of Marketing
& Investment: David Fletcher
David was appointed Director - Investment & Marketing in January 2002.
He is responsible for the strategic marketing of Sheffield as a business
location, the management of inward investment enquiries and the stimulation
of property development in the City. David is a Chartered Marketer
with over 14 years experience in marketing and business development,
the most recent 10 years of which were spent in the property and construction
sector - with HBG and Wimpey.
