The recentlyd Millennium Galleries combines four separate galleries in
an innovative combination of visual art, craft and design, with
exhibitions from national and international galleries

Park is the location for the Mappin Gallery and the City Museum,
which houses Sheffield's natural history collection, as well as
archaeological and decorative artefacts

2003 a £17 million redevelopment of both the City Museum and Mappin
Art Gallery will begin, renovating the building and developing
it into one centre providing redesigned and more accessible collections
and displays

Island Museum tells the story of Sheffield and the Industrial
Revolution
- Abbeydale
Industrial Hamlet is a working water-powered scythe and steel
works, complemented by working craftspeople demonstrating genuine
skills
