Sheffield City Airport provides facilities
for helicopters, and private charter flights to a range of UK and
European destinations. Scheduled flights run seasonally to Jersey.
Manchester Airport, reached direct by train in under an hour,
is the main international gateway outside London. It offers
flights to domestic, European and international locations,
and can handle up to 20 million passengers a year.
East Midlands International Airport, just 47 miles (75km) south
of Sheffield, provides a large number of domestic UK flights, as
well as services to continental Europe.
Leeds/Bradford Airport handles a large volume of business
